Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to delete the data Promolexa (“we”, “us”) holds about your Shopify store and your connected social accounts. It satisfies the data-deletion disclosure required by Meta (Facebook) and by privacy regulations such as the GDPR.

How your data is deleted automatically

When you uninstall Promolexa from your Shopify admin, Shopify sends us the shop/redact webhook 48 hours later. On receipt, we cascade-delete all data associated with your store from our database, including:

• Shop record and session tokens
• Products you imported and the launch kits generated for them
• Health Scores and recommendations
• Competitors, competitor snapshots, and alerts
• Social platform integrations and their OAuth tokens
• Email-send and social-post audit logs
• Generated hero images stored on Vercel Blob

No action beyond uninstalling is required for this automatic deletion.

How to disconnect a single social account

To revoke Promolexa’s access to one connected platform (e.g. Facebook) without uninstalling the whole app:

1. Open Promolexa from your Shopify admin.
2. Go to the Connections page.
3. Click Disconnect on the platform you want to remove.

This immediately deletes the corresponding OAuth tokens from our database and revokes our access to that account.

How to request immediate deletion

If you want your data deleted before the 48-hour uninstall window, or you want written confirmation of deletion, email us at support@promolexa.com with your .myshopify.com store domain. We will delete your data and confirm within 30 days (typically within a few business days).

Facebook data deletion

If you connected a Facebook Page to Promolexa, the only Facebook-derived data we store is your Page ID, Page name, and an encrypted Page access token (plus, when present, the associated Business ID and name). All of it is deleted by any of the methods above — disconnecting Meta on the Connections page, uninstalling the app, or emailing support@promolexa.com.
